You almost need to have two completely different design personalities, because what works on paper can look terrible on the web, and what works on line doesn’t always work on paper. My design principle is: Get rid of the clutter!
Clean design helps prevent the problem of dazzling people with images that they they find distracting from what is being presented. Instead of overwhelming the vision, my focus is on a single, powerful graphic that draws the eyes to the main message you’re trying to get across.
